Description

Numbers down slightly this week with a total of 1577 head yarded. The JBR Team yarded 104 head still with some great quality local feeder and weaner cattle.

Below are some of the highlights from this weeks sale.

Evans - Gunnedah - A pen of Limo X Hfrs @ 526.2c x 388kg = $2045

Hobson - Gunnedah - A pen of Angus & Hereford X steers @ 574.2c x 305kg  = $1751

Morgan - Currabubula - A pen of Hereford X heifers @ 538.2 x 371kg = $1999

Gunnedah Cattle Sales Weekly Report 9th June 2026

Numbers surged significantly at Gunnedah this week, with 1,973 cattle yarded, a massive jump of 1,100 head from last week. While all major buyers were active with steady competition, the overall market plateaued, showcasing a plainer yarding with limited prime lines on offer. Lighter cattle grades trended softer.
