Gunnedah Fat Cattle Sale Results - 4/10/2022

Description

Numbers more than doubled this week to a total yarding of 2218 head. A great selection of export, feeder, yearling and weaner cattle were well represented but there were few light cattle on offer. Market trends remained very solid throughout the sale, with all regular buyers in attendance.

The JBR Team yarded 164 head, some of the highlights from this weeks sale include:

 W & J Picton - Curlewis - A outstanding pen of Angus strs @ 524.2c x 619kg = $3247

 West Nombi - Mullaley - A quality pen of empty Shorthorn Hfrs @ 428.2c x700kg = $3000

 Kember - Gunnedah - Red Angus strs @ 530c x 434kg = $2302

 Agvac - Gunnedah - A pen of Santa Cross hfrs@ 660c x 247kg = $1633

Gunnedah Cattle Sales Weekly Report 9th June 2026

Numbers surged significantly at Gunnedah this week, with 1,973 cattle yarded, a massive jump of 1,100 head from last week. While all major buyers were active with steady competition, the overall market plateaued, showcasing a plainer yarding with limited prime lines on offer. Lighter cattle grades trended softer.
