James Bradford

James Bradford Rural widely known as JBR was born in 2018 after James took over from Bert Hewitt who traded as Garvin and Cousins where both Bert and James, Di and Sam all worked together for a number of years. Today Bert is enjoying retirement on his local property, however is still is a wonderful support to James and all the team at JBR.

James has been in Gunnedah for most of his child and adult life and has extensive knowledge and experience in the livestock, property and rural industry in Gunnedah and surrounding areas. He is very proud to be the name behind JBR. James was a state finalist in the 2006 Young Auctioneers competition held at Sydney Royal Easter Show. He holds a class 1 agents licence for Real Estate, Stock and Station licence along with an Auctioneers Accreditation. James is also a level one Auctions Plus assessor and trainer, happy to provide a sound value and advise for your online livestock needs.

James is supported by his wife Kate and their three young boys Hugo, Charlie and Jono whom all are showing a love for cattle. Kate, who is originally from Mungindi has a background in grain marketing and rural merchandise together they share the same vision for JBR to provide their clients with a professional somewhat old fashioned service that comes from a family company represented by our wonderful hard working team. Kate also has a Bachelor of Business in Agricultural Commerce Grain marketing Accounts & Farm book keeping Rural merchandise. We all pride ourselves on customer service providing an honest friendly advise to all your rural property and livestock requirements.
