Gunnedah Sale Yards Weekly Report 18th August 2026
Date: August 18, 2026
Location: Gunnedah Sale Yards
Description
A solid increase in numbers this week with 1,920 head yarded at Gunnedah (up nearly 400 on last week!).
Quality was right up there, predominantly featuring a good yarding of weaners and yearlings, along with some quality lines of feeder
cattle. All major buyers were back in the gallery.
The market saw strong demand for light restocker cattle and feeder heifers, while most other categories eased slightly.
